With WPS being next evolution of WICS, does WPS is capable/handle all the functionality of WICS ? currently we have many services in WICS which have string (flat files) as i/p & O/P using data handlers and so on.. and handling around 100K transactions / day

now, going to WPS, can we migrate these kind a collab temp? or will it be a overhead to WPS in concern to volume ?

or is WMB the option for flat files ?

has anybody drawn a roadmap from WICS to WPS ? or do we have to go for both WMB & WPS and re-build the services for WMB ?

any thoughts?

A friend of mine is co-author of the redbook "Migrating ICS to WPS". The book is to be released pretty soon and I am waiting for that too. His mqseries.net username is Ratan
From what he says migration is definitely feasible

I'm just beginning to gain experience on Process Server. Working on a POC/POT for ICS migration to WPS for Puerto Rico Telephone Company/Claro/America Movil.

Hope I can contribute something useful to the forum in the days to come as I continue to move forward learning one thing at a time.

Ask good questions, not bad questions.

Make posts about things you have learned. You may still get told that you did it wrong, or a better way to do it.

Read questions ,and try and answer them yourself, even if you don't necessarily post the answer.
