Hi
Can anyone tell me exactly what MQ DCE is and what purpose it serves?
It is hard to find anything usefull about this on the web.

It was used for two purposes....
(1) to use kerberos to secure mq channel connections and
(2) to hold queue definitions (scope(cell) on q defs).
Its no longer supported in MQ V6 and had very little usage eariler. _________________ -wayne |

Do you know about any litterature on the topic?
If this is no longer supported in v 6, what are the migration conciderations for those who use DCE?
I understand this may be alot to ask but any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I am using the kerberos security exits and am upgrading to MQ 6.0.2.1. Do i need to recomplile the exits againt the version 6 libraries?
