Hi,

I've a Queue Manager called QMTEST and a queue called QUEUE1. I've defined the QDEPTHHI and QDEPTHLO and have enabled PERFMEV, QDPHIEV.

As such, when the queue depth of QUEUE1 exceeds QDEPTHHI, a message is placed on SYSTEM.ADMIN.PERFM.EVENT.

The question is are there any ways that we can comprehend this message using Java? This is useful for my testing as I am writing a Java Application to keep pumping messages into the various queues for stress testing.

Your help will be appreciated! Thanks in advanced.

There used to be a supportpac program in "C" called EVMON that interprets this....but I can't find it any more.

if you look at"cmqscfc.h" you'll find the structure definition and constants you need to read the message off the queue.
