Any news on the release and functions of MQ series Event broker.

Now you can download the Manuals for WMQ Event Broker 2.1 from IBM website:

Looks like this product is more related to pub/sub and uses the same framework as WMQI. I wonder why IBM has introduced this as a seperate product (aprart from making more money )

They really just released Broker and Event Broker to appeal to a market that can't afford and doesn't need new era of networks support. That way more companies can afford to do high-powered brokering and pub/sub without paying as much money.

Should be good for us IT people because we can potential have more projects to do.

Yes, Event Broker is Pub/Sub without data transformation. It's also not very expensive.
