Hi all,
I would like to know about DEFPRTY parameter in queue definitions. We have a requirement of fetching high priority messages from a specific queue. How can we use this parameter to achive this?

DEFPRTY is used if an application doesn't set a priority when putting the message. You need to set MSGDLVSQ(PRIORITY) on the queue, which causes messages of a higher priority to go to the "top" of the queue at MQPUT time. _________________ -wayne
MQ automatically presents the highest priority messages to the application, if the queue has message delivery sequence set to "priority". You don't need to change the application code.
