Hi,

When I export project components into a .jar file it does not use the same folder name.
/BusinessObjects --> /BusinesObject
/Connectors --> /Connector
/Maps --> /NativeMap
... and so on

However when I import the .jar file into a project it does not copy the files to the right folder. Instead it copies the same folder structure that is inside the .jar file

Any idea of what could be wrong?

Thanks in advance,

Felipe

It appears to be a problem with your jar file.. It might be corrupted ?

Instead of exporting the project ,Did you try exporting ICL?
If at all you tried exporting ICL,did you face the same problem?

When you export the Project files as ".jar" it primarily exports a repository file which can be deployed using the Repos_copy to the server. It does not include the compiled objects or the XSD's for business objects.

You will need to export the ICL as djeripo has suggested to retain the project folder structure.

I am not sure about this. Jar file should have the same structure in both cases.

If you are not sure, Open your CSM and try it out. Unless you are talking about a version older than 4.2x or 4.3x

I made my post only after checking my Jar files from Project and ICL. They looked exactly same. So, I guess you need to give it a shot and also specify the version you are on.
