Hi everybody!
Does anybody have experience with software database replication between to z/OS LPARs. Each LPAR has got DB2 subsystem and
Webspehere MQ subsystem. Websphere MQ subsystems - queue managers are connected with channels. Thanks for help in advance.

Are you talking about this in a general sense, or as in the Q replication product:

??

I need product which can replicate DB2 database using Websphere MQ sending messages from one LPAR to an other keeping both databases syncronised.

(interesting article; funny that IBM still insist on using MIPS as their CPU measuring unit )

I believe wayne just gave you an answer - WII is such a product (did you read the article?); and you know what they say - "google is your friend" - I searched for "database replication" and found many relevant articles, for example The Next Generation: Q Replication about the same product wayne suggested, and DBMoto - another such product.

Concerning practical hands-on experinece, I personally have none with such products, maybe someone else will come forward.

Dude, I just gave you a link to another product on my last post, read before you post!

There are plenty of other such products in the market, WII is not the only one, use this little-known site to find out.

I assume you meant "RepliData" which was an offering out of Boulder a few years back. Yes, it is the replacement for RepliData.

What's wrong with using DB2 Data Sharing instead of replicating data with MQSeries?

http://www.sybase.com/ may have something but I don't understanding why you are not using DB2 Data Sharing.
