Hello,
I am really happy that I found this forum because Iam really new to ICS and at work I am forsaken with my ICS problems...
So my problem is the following:
I am not able to install the XML DataHandler V2.7 due to reason BIA01002 ("BIA01002: You have attempted to install IBM WebSphere Business Integration Data Handler for XML 2.7.0 on an unsupported platform. Refer to the Installation Guide for WebSphere Business Integration Adapters.").
The installed system consists of ICS V4.2.2, WebSphere MQ 5.3 CSD10, WBI Adapter Fwk V2.6.0.
I have to install the XML DataHandler because the MQ Workflow adapter V2.7 doesn`t start due to a DataHandler-ClassNotFoundException 
I am looking forward to your ideas. Thanks a lot in advance!!!

What platform did you try and install it on?

Thanks for your reply!
I tried the installation with different versions on Win2k (SP4). The error was the same...
or did you mean another "platform"-type? |

No, that's what I meant.
If you were running on XP, I'd think you needed to change the compatability mode of the installer.
I guess you can try it. See if there's a compatibility pane on the properties of the installer exe.

I read the message where this method was published and already tried it with the compatibility mode but Win2000 doesn`t have this feature imho
By the way the installation files are executable JAR-archives.
Still any ideas? |

Hello,
You can install it on a supported platform (or Win XP in compatibility mode) and then copy CwXMLDataHandler.jar where you need it. |

Here is something simple. You can give a try on the order of installing the products :
1. DataBase (Oracle or DB2)
2. WebSphere MQ
3. MQ CSD
4. Adapter Framework
5. Install the XML Data handler
6. Then go with any adapters required
7. ICS
8. ICS fixpacks if any
9. Configure ICS
