Hi,

We have a batch job that has to be triggered when a queue depth reached some number. That job will write message to a file. Queue resides on MVS subsystems.

Here my question... Will MQ turns the trigger off once it initiates the batch process...? If so, what can we do to not happen like this...? I want the trigger to be on at all times.

And also Please give me some hints to configure trigger to run a batch job.

Your'e correct, if you use trigtype=depth, you'll have to have a step in your triggered job to turn triggering back on. You can use csqutil to issue a command to ALTER the queue to turn triggering on.
