Anybody have any references or suggestions concerning using WLM Goal mode and WMQ. We are a CICS,DB2,IMS(DB),MQ shop going to WLM Goal Mode( finally)... I find much info on CICS and the DB managers, but nothing on MQ under Goal mode. Maybe its so simple that nothing is needed? Anyone out there willing to share from pearls of wisdom on this subject? By the way were at OS390 2.10 --- trying to get to Z/OS..
Thanks very much ---- jerry

In our production LPAR we set ours to the same enclave as the online systems...mainly because many of our online systems use MQ (especially for OFAC processing).

Thanks for the response!... One question, do you know if you are using volocity goals or response time goals? And if response time, are you using average or percential goals.

Because MQ runs as a started task, it's probably better to use velocity time goals. We also run our brokers in the same time goal mode, though it's all relative as it depends on what service class your started task is in
