I am not sure if anyone else has EVER come accross such a thing. But if anyone has any thoughts on this one, please do so.

AMQ8409: Display Queue details.
QUEUE(MYXMITQ) CURDEPTH(-5)

Depth of a queue being negetive. Not quite sure as to how it came up, so please dont ask me how i got it, or how to reproduce it. Or what i was doing. Just to let you all Gentle MQer's know that this is NOT the first time i have seen this. Has anyone seen such a thing. If so, any theories as to how can we justify it.

Cheers.
Kumar

I haven't, but you might want to read through this thread at the archive of the Vienna listserver: http://www.messageq.com/forums/vienna/msg_body.php3?ID=27635
Andy Hickson from the Hursley lab explains why and how a CURDEPTH can actually become negative. Probably informative for you.
Cheers,
Stefan

Thanks Stefan. That info helps.
But i have not come accross any such documented info on this one from IBM. And any valid reasoning as to what could be the cause for the same. Whether this is a bug, or if at all this is valid.

Hope someday someone raises this issue with IBM.

Cheers.
Kumar
