I am looking for a Free program/tool to monitor queues on real time basis.My intention is to log the messages coming and going out through a particular queue. Could you please suggest if any.

Different options to log message trafic:
- if you want to log message trafic between queue manager, you can implement a channel message exit. One sample implementation is proposed for free in support pac MA06 ("MQ Series sample message exit to record transmitted messages").
- if you want to capture, analyse, replay message trafic on a specific queue in a queue manager, you can use a MQ series log analysis tool. Strangely there is not a lot of offer in this field, but a new company is proposing one. See www.cressida.info. (NOTE: I am not linked to this company)
- a more trivial way of capturing message trafic is to perform real-time replication of the messages. A sample implementation (called "ReplicateMessageServer") is proposed with the JASMQ product. JASMQ is free and can be found in the software repository of this forum:
