Hi

A friend code a VB pgm and send the MQCICS bridge request thru Windows Server to host. But on the host, the bridge started and display error on cics console with 'Unable to Link to program xxxxx' where 'xxxxx' is shown in hex as '4D9C0F0F30' where the hex value should be 'D4C9F0F0F3'. Any idea what's when wrong with this? In the pgm he already put the encoding,ccsid,pgm name(8 char) and commarea.

This looks like a number mix up with high value/low value bytes being inverted. What is your message format and CCSID include number formatting ?

Are you attempting to supply an MQCIH header?
What format names are you putting in MQMD and MQCIH format fields?

You need to provide a valid format so that MQ can do the ASCII-EBCDIC conversion

Many thanks guy. Now it's working after put mqstr & codepage=500 on mqcih fields. Those 2 fields were filled with the default value earlier.
