I don't know anything about MVS. I need to know as i need to setup MQ on the MVS system. Can you give me few points on that and is MQ very different on the MVS? Where can i find the documentation on that?

On the top of this page there is a link called DOCUMENTATION. Click on it and select platform specific books. All the z/OS books are for you.

MQ on zOS cannot be set up by a user with normal levels of authority. It requires a level of authority (and experience) that are not usually granted to end users.

You will need to explain what you want you application to do to your Systems programmers for the zOS system and they will (if suitably bribed) create the approriate definitions for you.
