Hello,
Long, long time ago, when we had MQSeries running over VSE and the CICS transaction MQMT was used to administer qmgrs, we were able to see all messages available in any local queue. And, in addition, we could see old messages that were previously in that queue. In other words, even after one application issued a GET message from a local queue, we were able to see the message that the alication took from the queue.
I believe it was posible because the MQSeries(2.1) for VSE used some VSAM files (mqseries.mqfi001, mqseries.work.file, etc)
Is it posible to do that with WebSphere MQ for OS/390?
How?
Thank you,
Yonny R. Serrano
Still in love with MQ, after six years of relationship. |

There is no interface to allow you to see deleted messages. However if they are persistent messages you could use a log extract/print utility to find old messages. _________________ Bob Buxton
