Can anyone give me a sample to implelment 2-phase commit on S/390 under CICS involving DB2 and MQSereis for S/390.

From memory (and I am getting on a bit, so it's not always reliable), you don't have to do anything special. Everything is controlled by the CICS syncpoint. The MQ verbs MQCMIT and MQBACK are not supported.

That's exactly the case. CICS is a transaction manager. It governs MQ, DB2 and its internall transactions.
