What is the reason for reason code 2003, i have read the reason code description in the manuals.

Is it an application side error ? The channel runs , messages flow and suddenly they stop.

ANy advise. on the XMITQ of sender, there is an UNCOM(YES) and so on the QL of RCVR side.

Not enough information.

You need to find out what is the reason for the channel not to be able to pass the message. (message too big ?)

Enjoy

Folks,

Any ideas about max log files and log file sizes when creating a queue manager. i know max size is 16384, so i cannot specify greater than that right. lp max is 62 and ls max is 61 i guess. i get an AMQ7073 error. Should i reduce my log file size to <16384??

On Unix platforms the Max Log size value is 16384. This will create a log that is 64meg.

The maximum number of logs is 63 total the minimum is 3. This can be a combination of LogPrimarys and LogSecondarys but you must have atleast 2 Primary logs and 1 Secondary.

Also it is a good idea to have /var/mqm/log mounted in a separate filesystem and make sure you have enough room on that filesystem for the logs you intend to create.
