MQ 7.0 server install on my windows workstations. Both queue managers are local.
I did read the MQ monitoring sections on the infocenter. The commands that i ran are from infocenter example. Its just that there isn't much explanation on the output and how to make sense out of it. It is confusing.
If you guys think the documentation is pretty clear and you were able to get it to work, i guess i should go read again. |

I've never seen the type of output from dspmqrte that you received.
I'd suggest starting over with a simple dspmqrte between two new qmgrs WITHOUT cluster queue definitions, WITH non-cluster point-to-point channels, WITH reply-to-queue on the same qmgr where you issue the dspmqrte command.
When you get this working, you can tinker with a 3rd qmgr as the destination for the reply. Once this works, you can tinker with clusters. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

I understand what you are saying. The divide and conquere rule works quite okay in trouble shooting. But I am looking from another angel. Why it is not completling the tasks. it starts/seems working but stops as it comes to the xmitq of the source qmgr. it never reaches (seems) to the target queue manager and queue.
This article talks in details but I have not missed anything it talks about.

jeevan: my most recent comments were directed more towards the OP.
The last command (Send) from your output indicates that the message left SCTQ on the TO.TARGQM channel. You could verify this be browsing the SCTQ.
I'm guessing that you already looked at the error logs on the originating and target qmgrs, yes? And you looked in the DLQs? And the SCTQ on the target qmgr for the missing reply message? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
