MQINQ is as "reliable" as PCF, but it doesn't help in getting a list of queues at all, since you first need to open the object before you can MQINQ it, and there is no "list all queues" selector for MQINQ. _________________ -wayne |

Right. But if MQINQ was not as reliable as PCF, then from_tindi would be completely out of luck for monitoring this remote queue manager - as opposed to only being mostly out of luck.
There isn't a way to reset queue statistics from MQINQ, right? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Correct, PCF only.....
Perhaps from_tindi can be slective about his PCF query, and construct a MQCMD_INQUIRE_Q_NAMES on a subset of queue names (Provided, of course, that he has "+dsp" on the set. _________________ -wayne |
