Huh.

That seems somewhat similar to what I did.

To create a "new" message, it looks like I did
Code:
IMQMessage500Disp mqMessage;
mqMessage.Bind(CLSID_MQMessage);

And I bound and unbound an IMQSession200Disp variable to CLSID_MQSession, and then used Session.AccessQMgr to get a pointer to a qmgr, and then QmgrPtr.AccessQueue to open the queue. Then I could queue.Put(mqMessage), after writing data and etc. to the message. And mqMessage.Unbind when I was done.

But this may be an outdated use of the COM interface.
