How can I let other applications which are not running on the same machine to locate the JNDI objects from the local file system? |
If you have things working through the local file system (and are happy with it), you need only change your local file system to be shared so that all of your machines can get at it. |

Since the machine is using UNIX, it may not be convenient for Window base users to access the file. Apart from using the local file system, Is there any way to setup another way for JNDI? Actually, I want to know how to setup? |

Your applications will have to be coded to know how to connect to the JNDI registry running in WAS.
I seem to remember that this was described in the WAS Info Center. But I could be remembering wrong. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Not to be rude, really, but did you actually LOOK in the WAS Info Center?
I still don't know if it's there, since I haven't looked myself (I've been too busy).
But I really think it is there.
We're not really here to give you all the answers... that would be doing your job.... we're just here to tell you where the answers are... _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Yes, I am taking a look for the Info Centre. However, it is quite to hard to find the info I want. It is because there are a lot of referral links in the document. Thanks!! |
