Hello to everyone.
We are using a WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus 6.1.2 that is sending a message using the default messaging provider (SIB/JMS interface) to a MQ network. ESB is going on MQ using MQ Link.
The JMS application:
- set the expiration time on every outgoing message (during send operation) - set the JMS_IBM_Report_Expiration integer property to MQRO_EXPIRATION_WITH_FULL_DATA value.
The message is correctly delivered to target MQ Queue; if the expiration timeout expires, the message is discarded from MQ queue but no expiration report message is generated from MQ system.
Does anyone has an idea of what i can check to see what is going wrong in this activity?
Use something like RFHUtil to inspect the message on MQ and verify the report settings once the message has hit MQ. If there is a problem open a PMR.
Make sure you have a DEFAULT route back to the originator of the message.
Check all your DLQ's on the way back to the originator. _________________ MQ & Broker admin
Using RFHUtil the message seems to be correct. I tried to read the message using RFHUtil, rewriting it on the same queue (still using RFHutil). When the message expires, the expiration report is generated and sent back to WAS/ESB.
