Hello All,

I have MQSeries for Windows NT, V5.2. I am geting problem in starting queue manager.
It shows status as "Not Connected". When I try connecting, it says, "Access not authorized, you are not authorized to perform this operation. [AMQ4036].

When I look into event log, it says.

"An internal MQSeries error has occurred.
An error has been detected, and the MQSeries error recording routine has been called.
Details of the error have been stored at D:Program FilesMQSerieserrorsAMQ00281.0.FDC. A synopsis is given in the data section below. Use the standard facilities supplied with your system to record the problem identifier, and to save the generated output files. Contact your IBM support center. Do not discard these files until the problem has been resolved."

"An internal MQSeries error has occurred (rc=1722: NetUserGetLocalGroups: (null)
MQSeries detected an unexpected error when calling the operating system. The MQSeries error recording routine has been called.
Use the standard facilities supplied with your system to record the problem identifier, and to save the generated output files. Contact your IBM support center. Do not discard these files until the problem has been resolved."

Earlier, I was not getting problem in starting this queue manager. Actually I created a new queue manager on same machine and I stopped one existing QM, now it is not getting started again. If anyone has encountered the same problem, please revert back with the solution.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Umesh

Hi Umesh,

You have of cause applied CSD2 or CSD3 on MQSeries 5.2.

I saw some of the same problems, and it helped applying service to MQSeries.

If you could post the top part of AMQ00281.0.FDC, it will sometimes give some insight into what is wrong.

Thanks, for all your replies.
Now I have stopped using GUI. From command prompt it's working fine.

Umesh
