hi,
I am running Mqseries on tandem , Solaris and Hp-unix . I have a queue manager and queues etc on each platform. my company wants to development another project on the same platforms .If I create another queue manager and queues on each platform will it not effect the existing set up. and I need some documentation on mqseries where can I find the same.

No, creating an additional Queue manager will NEVER effect the existing ones. You can have as many of them as you like.

As for documentation, i am not sure of which platform it is, but check the link below where you can find the links for the respective platforms. Also would advise that you Search this forum to find more of such links.

I can't help but ask: Why do you think you need to have a second set of queue managers for a second development project? If both are development environments you should be fine if you seperate the projects by queue naming conventions.
