Hello gurus,
Although Solaris and AIX are flavours of UNIX, would there be tough issues to face if we move our applications running on WMQI from Solaris to AIX?
We have a unique situation, wherein capacity problems are forcing us to look at possible short term alternatives.
All experiences / suggestions welcome.
Thanks and Regards.

Moving WMQI2.1 Broker from Solaris to AIX is a good choice. You will be getting more support from IBM related to AIX than Solaris and moreover there is an issue on solaris on threading to run multiple instances of the message flow. |

Thanks a lot for enlightening me . I checked back with the development team to ensure that we are not facing any issues due to this.
Cheers.
