Located in Westboro, Massachusetts, this position is responsible for the day-to-day operational support of complex applications, such as PeopleSoft, DSM, MRO and others, including n-tier applications infrastructures, covering application middleware and integration technologies, using tools such as MQ Series. The candidate will also support implementation and operational aspects of multi-tier distributed application environments. Facilitate/coordinate/diagnose all issues dealing with the Application Infrastructure domain, e.g. application servers, database services, web application servers, integration servers, network routing and load balancing. Plan and coordinate projects with all IT Infrastructure Services groups.

Bachelorâ€™s degree in Computer Science, MIS or engineering related discipline, or equivalent is required; Masterâ€™s degree a plus. 5-7+ yearsâ€™ technical experience in software engineering, and 2+ yearsâ€™ in multi-tiered applications implementation are expected. Experience in applications build management & product implementation releases, as well as in developing technical specifications and problems analysis is necessary. Good understanding of basic Project Management tools, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and team participation are expected. The chosen candidate will be analytical, research and evaluate new technologies, have excellent managerial skills and must be able to work with minimal supervision.
