Located at our corporate headquartes in Cleveland, Ohio we are looking for an exceptional individual to add to our Middleware Infrastructure group. This group's focus is on setting the technical direction and supporting the existing infrastructure for a rapid moving application development environment. This also includes rolling out and supporting new technologies such as MQ/e and WMQI. Additional responsibilities may include selection of Middleware tools, managing multiple Middleware servers across two Data Centers and working in both a 390 and C/S environment. Must have the ability to work well on a small team and trade ideas freely with others, ability to take high level direction and fill in details, must possess good communication skills and have the ability to write concise and informative system documentation. REQUIRED: 6+ years IT experience in a large data processing environment, 3+ years work experience supporting Middleware software. Working experience of both z/OS and Windows Server environments. Must show working knowledge of JCL, IBM utilities and third party software products in a 390 environment. Must also have working experience with Windows 2000. PREFERRED: Advanced Skills supporting IBM MQ Series and third party products on z/OS using SMP/E. IBM MQ Certification. Programming experience in COBOL, REXX, VB, Java or C.
