Is there any documentation on what's the recommended procedure or best practice to migrate MQSI from development environment to production and fall back if there is any problem ?

The closest document that I know of for describing this info is the IC04 SupportPak from the MQSeries web site (http://www.ibm.com/software/ts/mqseries, and then go to Download and SupportPaks).
