The following IBM WebSphere MQ Family SupportPac has been released:

IH06: WebSphere MQ Integrator - Publish/Subscribe client utility

The Publish/Subscribe client utility encapsulates the APIs for JMS and SCADA and supports multiple JMS and SCADA clients acting as publishers and subscribers from a simple GUI interface. The primary objective of the SupportPac is to assist in the development of WebSphere MQ Integrator (WMQI) solutions by allowing WMQI functionality to be explored independently of the actual applications.

The SupportPac is a simple generic Publish/Subscribe client which allows potential solutions based on WebSphere MQ (using JMS) or SCADA to be investigated. It is envisioned that users will employ the utility to explore and demonstrate the Publish/Subscribe functionality of WMQI without having to invest a lot of time in the development of driving applications (that is, publishers and subscribers).

The following IBM WebSphere MQ Family SupportPacs have been updated:

IP03: WebSphere MQ Integrator - Capacity planning tool

This SupportPac is a self contained Java Swing application designed to provide guidance when attempting to capacity plan for a WebSphere MQ Integrator implementation. A new version of the tool has been added to support WebSphere MQ Integrator V2.1.

MS0E: MQSeries Administration Wrapper

The MQSeries Administration Wrapper provides an additional layer of configurable granular access control to MQSeries commands. This enables users who are not in the MQSeries administrative group (mqm) to perform various administrative actions. An audit trail is also created to monitor and log changes to the MQSeries configuration. It has been updated to support MQSeries for HP-UX V11.
