For Unix, that statement is true. I have gotten burnt by that.

It's a nice feature, but I don't believe thats the reason of the discussed problem.

My assumption is, the same problem on the same machine has the same reason. I can't believe, that the machine is correct configured, even if it was running.

I Doubt that they installed both Client And Server Versions on the Same Machine and this amqsput Application is Binded to Client Libraries rather than Server libraries.
