hi...

Why does the PEA DOS window not appear when start a activity in standard client?

If you are using the IBM supplied windows client, the PEA is started as a minimized window when you successfully logon to MQWF. It is not ever openned on your desktop by MQWF.

hi,
if you are working on WindowsNT then go to control panel->services and check whether the service of the workflow is started or not. If not, just start the service and try again. The client itself will start the PEA in the DOS prompt window.
