The following WebSphere MQ Family SupportPacs have been released:

AA01: MQSeries Adapater Offering - Baan IV template

This SupportPac contains four integration templates that, along with the included custom Baan 4GL program, export transactions from the Baan IV application. The four templates are:

BaanToOAG_Customer_Hybrid - This template provides an integration solution for synchronizing Customer information from the Baan IV Customer object (database table tccom010) with other ERP or MES applications. This is accomplished by generating an OAG XML message 007_sync_customer_005 which is placed on an outbound MQSeries queue.

BaanToOAG_Inventory_Hybrid - This template provides an integration solution for synchronizing inventory totals from the Baan IV Inventory object (database table tdinv001) with other ERP or MES applications. This is accomplished by generating an OAG XML message 068_sync_inventory_005 which is placed on an outbound MQSeries queue.

BaanToOAG_Item_Hybrid - This template provides an integration solution for synchronizing Item information from the Baan IV Item object (database table tiitm001) with other ERP or MES applications. This is accomplished by generating an OAG XML message 061_sync_item_005 which is placed on an outbound MQSeries queue.

BaanToOAG_Salesorder_Hybrid - This template provides an integration solution for synchronizing Sales Order information from the Baan IV Sales Order object (database tables tdsls040, tdsls041) with other ERP or MES applications. This is accomplished by generating an OAG XML message 084_sync_salesorder_006 which is placed on an outbound MQSeries queue.

The Baan4 MQAO adapters templates included in this SupportPac were built using MQSeries Adapter Builder V1.0.1 with CSD 2 installed. The current package includes a custom Baan utility program to output Baan data, an MQAO utility program to place the data on an MQSeries queue along with a standard MQAO routing header, and the above 4 sample MQAB adapters which transform the Baan-specific XML into OAG Bod XML. Also included are sample database triggers and mapping documents, sample data,and the XML DTDs.

AA02: MQSeries Adapater Offering - SAP R/3 4.5 template

MQSeries Adapter Offering provides a drag and drop facility that simplifies the development of mappings from one data format to another. This SupportPac is a simple example of a resulting adapter set that maps to and from a SAP R/3 Material Master IDoc to and from an Open Applications Group's Business Object Document (BOD).

AA41: MQSeries Adapater Offering - J. D. Edward World 7.3 template

This SupportPac contains two integration templates that export transactions from J.D. Edwards World manufacturing applications. The first template called JDE_InventorySA provides an integration solution for synchronizing inventory totals from file (F41021) with other ERP or MES applications. This is accomplished by generating an OAG XML message 068_sync_inventory_005 which is placed on an outbound MQSeries queue.

The second template is called JDE_ItemSA which provides an integration solution for synchronizing Item Branch Master information (F4102) with other ERP or MES applications. This is accomplished by generating an OAG XML message 061_sync_item_005 which is placed on an outbound MQSeries queue.

The above three SupportPacs are the first in a new group to be released for use with the MQSeries Adpater Offering product.

WA84: MQSeries Workflow - Web Client extensions

This SupportPac provides a set of components for developing applications based on the IBM MQSeries Workflow Web client. Using these functions, you can develop workflow applications with professional, attractive, and sophisticated Web based user interfaces. The extended components are fully compatible with other functions provided by the Web Client. Web Client Extensions V1.0 provides features for:

Reusing process instantiation data - The data from the previous process instance can be reused when instantiating a new process instance. By using this feature, you can avoid making end users have to enter the same data again.

Suspending and resuming activity implemetations - By using this feature, you can allow the end user to save the current activity as a draft. At anytime in the future, the user can restart the activity and continue from where they were.

Using multiple JSPs for a single activity implementation - You can use this feature to implement a single activity with multiple JSPs. You can provide a variety of Web interfaces, such as the navigation of user's data input.

Using the framework for user exit functions - You can define user-exits according to your needs. For example, you can specify code that provides evaluation data before or after a certain Web command is executed. Because the code is specified in JSPs, you need not know how to compile and publish the code. The data is evaluated on Web servers, therefore you can use any Web browser.

This SupportPac can be used to easily design professional workflow applications for the IBM MQSeries Workflow Web Client.

The following WebSphere MQ Family SupportPacs have been updated:

IH04: MQSeries Integrator V2 - Message Generator and Coverage Analyzer

This SupportPac provides two tools that enhance the testing support given by MQSeries Integrator - a Message Generator and a Coverage Analyzer. It has been updated to support WebSphere MQ Integrator V2.1. In the WebSphere MQ Integrator V2.1 release, new constraints can be added to message fields. When generating a new default profile, the Message Generator takes into account several of these constraints, to create a profile that better fits the message characteristics. For example, suppose an Integer type field was assigned a minInclusive and maxInclusive constraints, the Message Generator will assign a Random generation function to this field, with the field constraints as the Lower Bound and Upper Bound limits of the function.

MS81: MQSeries Internet pass-thru

MQSeries internet pass-thru (MQIPT) is an MQSeries base product extension that can be used to implement messaging solutions between remote sites across the Internet. It makes the passage of MQSeries channel protocols into and out of a firewall simpler and more manageable by tunnelling the protocols inside HTTP, SSL or by acting as a proxy.

The following enhancement has been made in this release:

The date has been added to all trace entries. This is to help diagnose problems when MQIPT has been running for more than a day.

The following fixes have been made in this release:

Extra error checking while waiting for socket connections. This is to fix a known problem of sockets remaining open unecessarily.

The test certificates provided in the sslSample.pfx file have been replaced with just one trust-as-peer certificate. The old certifcate expires on 14th January 2002.
