hi

say if the user has opened a worklist, but not yet complete the task, when he/she closes the browser, will the worklist stay in the worklist box?

I dont understand your terminology.

I assume that you mean the user has openned an activity from a worklist, then they close the browser while working on that activity. In this case the item will be in either a running or a checked out state depending on how you put the item into execution.
