Hi

would that be ok if I designing my workflow system by starting with the screen design first and then build my process model based on that?

or should I do it the other way around..

IMO, If you don't start with the process model, your system is doomed to failure.

The applications are the smallest part of the workflow. The idea is that you want to have the process defined properly. Stating at the application end it is my opinion that you will have the application designer dictating the flow of the business process. In workflow the business process always drives.
