Hello...I would like to know the role of an MQ Administrator: I have to define the role of an ADMINISTRATOR...the following is what I have come up with...can you please see if I have missed any duties...and add to it..

You might want to look over the MQSeries System Administration manual. For
what it is worth, they give the following definition:
Administration tasks include creating, starting, altering, viewing,
stopping, and deleting MQSeries objects (queue managers, queues, clusters,
processes, and channels).
The System Administration manual takes the point of view that the MQSeries administrator is different from the System Administrator. Because of this, the installation tasks are pulled out separately. |
