Hi,
I need to call Java Class from my ESQL.
I have made a Java Project in the Toolkit and have given project reference to my Broker Project from where I need to call my Java Class.
like This :
CREATE PROCEDURE getUserDefinedConfigServProp( IN P1 CHARACTER)
LANGUAGE JAVA
EXTERNAL NAME "com.sampleproxy.test.ConfigService_Java.getUserDefinedConfigServProp";
CREATE FUNCTION Main() RETURNS BOOLEAN
BEGIN
DECLARE I INTEGER 1;
DECLARE J INTEGER;
--DECLARE result CHARACTER ;
CALL getUserDefinedConfigServProp('Configure');
but I am getting this error
Number:INTEGER:2943
Text:CHARACTER:Java class not found

What steps have you taken to ensure the class (which you defined in the ESQL code) is actually available to the runtime?
Or put another way, if you were calling this class from Java in a WAS server or similar, could you simply give the class name in the Java source code or would you have to put the jar file somewhere? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
Insanity is the best defence.
What Should I use ?
I need to make a User defined Configurable Service in which I have to define some Look Up Table.
I have a restriction that I cannot use the Database.
