Hi ,
I am looking for emails alerts mechanism implemented using Tivoli.
For instances
1 when the depth queue reaches to threshold limit / when a new user added to mqm group , when channel ends abnormally due to tcp listener issues .. i need an email alert that can be sent to mq admin .
Is it possible through Omegamon ? Can some one give pointers on same..

| In the MQ situation you write, there's a tab for ACTION and you can invoke a script to run (either at the TEMS or monitored system), where you can send an email to whomever you want. As for for new users, you would probably have to use an OS agent and write a situation for that condition, although I have no knowledge if this even possible. |

Hello, I have the same question. We have omegamon XE for messaging on z/OS V7.1.0 in our environment and we do not want to use TEPs for situations and alerts. We want to use just enhanced 3270 for monitoring. How can I send mail alerts for the situations such as "queue full" using Omegamon?
Any help would be appreciated. |
