- Identify what protocols & transports O-EBS suports (http, jms, wmq, soap, etc, etc)

- leverage the WMBv7 facilities that map to them

A more convenient way to interface Oracle Enterprise Business Suite is through the MQ adapter service. It's off-the-shelf functional and uses WebSphere MQ much like JMS uses WebSphere MQ as a service provider.

Oracle EBS is heavily data-oriented... it's effectively a front end onto an Oracle database, so you can use the standard ODBC connectivity as a way in.... i.e. DatabaseInput node for inbound traffic and Compute/Database etc. for outbound.

Thanks for all your feedback....just curious to know whey IBM has provided Oracle EBS adapter for WESB/WPS? what is the strategy ?..i am a bit confused.
