Hi All,

We are in a situation where depth of queue is increasing and pset do have space...

Can we change pageset of queue which msgs are processing from it.. is there any impact on it ?

pls provide any urls if we have

No. But you can alter the pageset definition to allow it to expand. Search google for the ALTER PSID command.

ALTER PSID(psid-number) EXPAND(USER|SYSTEM|NONE)

No. But you can alter the pageset definition to allow it to expand. Search google for the ALTER PSID command.

I understand we can not alter PSID when q has msgs. Is there any relation between storageclass and pageset.

Yes, the DEF QLOCAL(queuename) STGCLASS(classname) attribute of the local queue identifies the storage classname.

The DEF STGCLASS(classname) PSID(pagesetnumber) relates the storageclass name (from the local queue definition) to a pageset number.

Search google for 'mq system setup guide'. Find the document for your version of mq.
