Hi All,

We want to pull data from Salesforce.

Initial desin was to create Webservice in our Middleware and when ever event occurs Salesforce will consume our service with that event data.

But Salesforce doent have capability to consume our service.

And they have a service if we consume that with a query in SOAP message we will get databack this is waht they are proposing and if there are more than 500 events in our 5 mints interval batch (for example) then we need to make multiple calls for each 500 records. -- I have lot of questions to implement consumer on our end regarding failure and retry as we need to push the data on to another external vendor after pulling from sales force.

My question is on Database Input node. Did any one used DBInput node to poll on a database which is out side of their network. And how is the performance or any issues.

Can any one please share your experience on this.
