I want the HL7 nodes in my tool kit..
I have WMB tool kit and broker version of 7.0.0.0 on windows system.
I have downloaded the IBM WebSphere Message Broker Connectivity Pack for Healthcare but not able to install it giving an error like " you should specify the exciting health pack.
Can any one please tell how to get the HL 7 nodes in our tool kit? |

There are HL 7 examples in the WMB samples directory. Also, you should not be using 7.0.0.0. Try 7.0.0.4. _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks

Did you install the optional Connectivity Pack for Healthcare? |
According to his OP, he tried but it doesn't install.
I see this as a clue to why the Healthcare components are not showing up. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Clearly you are not able to do this because you refuse to read and follow instructions.
And then refuse to make any reasonable attempts to troubleshoot anything.
And then post questions here, and refuse to read the advice you are given.
Why, exactly, are you wasting so many people's time? ESPECIALLY YOUR OWN TIME - with this unprofessional behavior? |

Not exactly a fix pack. It's a separate component which adds to the WMB functionality.
But only does so once you've managed to install it.
Given your post of:

and given that in my experience IBM never refers to it's products as "exciting" in an error message, perhaps we'd all get further if you posted the actual error message (cut and pasted) and also exactly what sequence of events led to the message.
My theory is that the message actually said "existing" because you've performed a few cycles of install / uninstall in the hopes of getting it to work, using the installation instructions as a suggestion rather than a guide.
That's because on your apparent inability to read a link about non-SMITTY installation in your other thread. If you won't read a page title, a whole document has no chance. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

For the benefit of other readers, the training course is NOT mandatory.
Sadly,f ar too many companies think that they can save a whole shed load of money by not sending their devs on a training course.
Some see the words Java in the docs and say to themselves, 'Ah, I have plenty of J2EE developers. They will pick it up in no time.'
and just to annoy someone( i can't for the life on me remember whoom ) , many Broker projects can be implemented quite satisfactorily without using any of the following:-
Singletons, DB Access via webservices, Log4J and even writing one line of Java code.
Oh, and I took the optional training back is V2.1 days. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |
