Location: US: west coast, almost. Otherwise, enroute.
(I'm guessing a large POS app.)

So, are each of your 8,000 qmgrs on a single server? Are there multiple qmgrs in a single LPAR? Are there multiple LPARs in a single server?

Is only one qmgr the subject of this recovery exercise?

Are you the first person to ponder what and how to recover?
