All

Am one of those peeps using XP

Initially was et to home but had to upgrade to Professional so I could configure WMQI correctly (usergroups etc)

My question is that using MQSeries is easy BUT when I create a queue manage or modify or delete the system seems to hang and does create the q manager correctly. Infact in a dozen attempts to create a QM I have only created one correctly the rest tend to hang after 20 secs or so and then dont create properly and therefore I have problems etc

Any ideas.

Also the MMC snapin for the services seems to have failed and I can't get anything up in the main window!!!

Again any ideas

Many thx

G

CSD 5???

What version of MQ are you running. I thought on XP you could only install MQ 5.3 CSD01 or higher and the latest CSD for MQ 5.3 is CSD03. .... Something is wrong...
