Hi All,

Ours is a software service provider company. Hence, the message broker team will be working on different projects for various requirements. Usually these projects would be development projects with varying complexities. And usually there would be 2-3 persons who will be on bench always. We are planning to get best use of their time by planning these activities:

1. Consolidating best practices & coding standards
2. Writing a generic error handler frameworks for different scenarios
3. Preparing a training material to learn message broker
4. Preparing templates for documents for requirement gathering, design doc, test cases
5. Preparing estimation templates with rules to calculate effort

Could you please help me to extend this list.

Contributing to user groups, conferences & helping on here - which has the side effect of building your reputation and demonstrating your developers skills (and therefore hopefully having them spend less time benched).
