The question is why they're buying you a baseball cap? |

I have no clue; apparently it's an attempt to help me integrate more closely with the indigenous inhabitants by adopting their style of dress.
I'll leave the natural-born American posters (including those born in Hawaii) to speculate on the cultural significance of this, possibly in a separate thread.
If "cultural" is the word I'm looking for. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Be charitable, they've only had a couple of hundred years at the game... _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

it is likely that the runtime directory will be /var/mqm unless I do something specific to move it - but that could change since IBM hasn't published a real behavior for this. |
If you want to be in a particular directory, then add a call in your application to change directory.
(Or write code that never relies on, or cares about, what the current working directory is).
You are likely to be running as mqm, I would guess. If you want something different then run a trigger monitor of your own running under an ID you like better. |

Even by our standards, the quotation marks here are appropriate. |
