Hi Everyone
I have a situation where i am using power broker command to install Message Broker on Aix server. I used the following commands to install.
pbrun mqroot /var/mqm/tmp/mqsi/messagebroker_runtime1/setupaix -console.
It worked well to install the base product 6.1.0.2, i am suppose to install 6.1.0.3 so i tried again to install the fixpack 3 after downloading from IBM website, now i gave this command.
pbrun mqroot /var/mqm/tmp/mqsi/disk1/setupaix -console.
It says the command path is not correct and asking me to contact the power broker administrator.
What i dont understand is that both the files were downloaded to the same location and untarred at the same location. One cammand works and other doesnt work.
Could any expert in the forum help me out with your valuable fix so that i could go ahead with installation.
thanks

What happens if you just execute the install command without using pbrun? |

Did you do something different when mounting the fixpack than when mounting the base install? Perhaps the root user doesn't see the mount? |
