...why you have started the command server manually ?...

Presumably because it wasn't running

Yes it is, but that doesn't mean that pavan343's site changes that behaviour to manual as a site standard.

Have you grep on 2621598 process id ? What you get ?

If that was the PID of the command server then the answer is - nothing. If it's not the PID of the command server the answer is still nothing.

Any FDC ?

The first sensible question you've asked

Presumably
I wanted to know the answer from him on this because setup is on his server.

That's why I've given a hint to him to check the value of SCMDSERV and let us know what its value in his system !!

i started the command server strmqcsv EAIBD4
WebSphere MQ command server started.
but then it stops immediately.
no i didn't find anything about the process called amqpcsea.
iam using mq 6.0 running on aix machine.
iam trying to connect to the queue manager from windows system using mq explorer

The command "strmqcsv EAIBD4" starts a process named "amqpcsea" - which is the command server process. The message "WebSphere MQ command server started." comes from this process.

But then the command server connects to the QMgr and opens the command queue. When you start the command server using a less priviledged user id, the command server will end (maybe, it cannot connect to the QMgr or open the command queue). It also fails when the command queue does not exist or is GET(DISABLED).

I would check the permissions of the user and the attributes of the command queue.

The first line of the OP's first post reads "...hi am using mq 6.0..."
