What i tried to ask was whether is t possible to use two Qm's by a single broker and configmgr ?
i dont think so . |
Why don't you think so?
You have been offered several methods of replicating the contents of a queue to another queue/qmgr. You have been advised that they all will do what you ask. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

To answer it another way, a well written MQ application will only connect to one queue manager. WMB is a well written MQ application.
This is not an issue, because MQPUTs and MQGETs can be used with local and remote queues in such a way that messages go to where they are needed.
If you are trying to copy messages from queue manager A to B, then whilst you could code a MQ client program to connect to both, there is not a need to do this. Messages can be duplicated on one QM and one set of these messages configured to arrive on the other queue manager.
If you don't understand remote queue definitions - read about them! |

And if you are looking for Continuity Of Service, then you need to use Highly Available solutions, and not try to duplicate messages. |
