Hello,

we have to start parallel development on WMBI - bug fixies of production version and development of one or two new versions.

We don't know how to deliver/merge msgflow bug fixies to development versions and how to propagate new things from one dev version to another dev version.
Esql files are easy to read and easy to merge but how to merge message flows and mapping files?

We have to use Rational ClearCase.

Has somebody experience with it?

It's easy enough to branch within ClearCase, and have each branch in a different workspace within the Toolkit. We had no success merging non-ESQL files but didn't find it a problem; our message sets were fairly stable and the basic shape of our flows was established quite early on.

Interested to know if anyone has better luck with automatically merging.
