Hi All,
I am having a strange error , I am trying to start my WPS , its starting well but at the end the transport chain on port 9443 is not coming up and it is saying that the port is already in use , I have checked for that port using netstat -an | grep 9443 , but nothing seems to running on this , when I start WPS the WPS gets started , I can log into admin console , but none of my Web App are accessible as they all runs on port 9443.
I dont know why the port is not getting released , I am using Linux - Iread an article where it says that Linux does not release the ports sometime , but I have even tried restarting the entire Linux box , still I see the error while starting WPS.
I can change the virtual host for my Web apps to some other port , but I want to keep that as the last option. Can someone tell what could be causing it.
Also the logs says that transport chains "WCInboundDefaultSecure" and SOAPAcceptorChain4 cannot be initialized , I dont have any SOAPAcceptorChain4 created the SOAP port is configured with no transport chain in the App server , then why is this error coming.?

Guys,
I resolved the issue , actualy one of the App on WPS was implemeting an axis Webserver implementation called SimpleWebServer , this webserver used to listen on 8080 and intercept all the SOAP XML webservices call to axis webservice which were also depployed on WPS. Somehow one of you developer changed the default port for this Webserver to 9443 and since the Apps in the WPS gets started first , before the transport chain m this webserver was started on port 9443 , not letting the transport chain to initialize.
We modified this axis Webserver implementation to use someother port and repdeployed the EAR.Though it wont be of any use to other but still mentioning the cause.
